Arabella Proffer: My parents had a pretty extensive Russian art collection — some really weird and tripped out stuff – so I always marveled at those, but supposedly I was two years old when I made a drawing of an eye with a landscape …. she really won my heart was with the inclusion of a Seven Percent Solution song on her mixtape. Heidi Darr-Hope’s “Artmates” was purchased right out of her master of fine arts show at USC in 1982. The piece is reflective of the times. She majored in fabric art – a fairly new field at the time that grew out of the feminist movement.
